Ojon damage reverse review

Hey there!
I hope you're all OK.
Today I would like to tell you about my experience about Ojon damage reverse shampoo and conditionner.
I've postponed this review for a while as my previous experience with Ojon products was not satisfactory.
This time, it was way different.

First the shammpoo: this shampoo is a lot more creamier and hydrating respect to the hydrating shampoo from Ojon. That's very strange to me as I was expecting this shampoo to work like a protein based shampoo because of the name. Besides, this shampoo cleaned and detangled my hair without stripping it! Amazing!
Then I moved to the conditionner. Since the hydrating conditionner did not do much for my hair, I did not left the damage reverse conditionner for a long time like a regular DC. I left the damage reverse conditionner on the time I was showering. I detangled my hair which did not need it after the shampoo. I was left with the softest hair.
Then I added my leave-ins and air-dried. The softness was still there even after air-drying.

Overall, the Ojon damage reverse fulfilled all the claims from the bottle. I even wanted to try the treatment as it was such a pleasant experience.

This is a good line to add in the product list that agrees with my hair.

First wash after relaxer

Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the week-end.

Today, I've washed my hair for the first time after my relaxer.

I started with detangling my hair.
Then I prepooed with a mix of wheat germ oil, macadamia oil, hemp seed oil for 30 minutes under the heating cap.
I clarified with ORS chelating shampoo. I always use this shampoo the first time I shampoo after a relaxer. I use no-lye relaxer and this shampoo removes the calcium deposit from my hair for less dry hair. I lathered once with this shampoo. I used Keracare hydrating detangling shampoo for the second lather.
I then applied Affirm 5 in 1 conditionner as a strong protein treatment, leaving it in my hair for 30 minutes with heat.
After rinsing, I deep conditionned with a mix of ORS replenishing conditionner, Keracare Humecto (tub version), glycerin, castor oil, wheat germ oil for 1 hour under heating cap.
I then rinsed and towel dry my hair with patting motions.
I applied Aphogee green tea restructurizer, Cantu Shea butter as my leave-in. I planned to air dry and did not want my hair to frizz up. Therefore I applied Kerastase oleo-relax serum to my hair.

I detangled and then clipped up the end during the air-drying process. My hair dried in a couple of hours as it's very windy today. Sunny but windy.
My hair is now completely dry and frizz free.
I'm considering dusting or trimming the ends. They do not seem bad as I do not see any split end but it's been a while I haven't had one.

Relaxer day

Hey there!
As you can read from the title, it's relaxer day! I ended a 15 weeks stretch. This time again, my new growth behaved a lot. I followed the exact same routine with moisturizing my new growth and hair with my homemade moisturizing creme.
My hair texture changed during this stretch: the curls were looser and soft.
I relaxed today with Optimum care salon no-lye relaxer in regular strength. Back to the basics finally!

I based my scalp with coconut oil and covered the relaxed strands with Chi silk infusion. Relaxer application was great as my hair was soft and detangled.
As usual, I did a protein treatment after rinsing the relaxer out and before shampooing with the neutralizing shampoo. I used Affirm 5 in 1 protein treatment.
I then shampooed with the neutralizing shampoo and then DC with a combo of Keracare Humecto and ORS replenishing conditionner. I added in the mixture vegetable glycerin, wheat germ oil. I let it sit for an hour under the heating cap.
I rinsed and toweled dry before styling.

Results are greats as always with this relaxer.
I did not want to overlap with all the previous texlaxed hair, so I still have some of the texture from 2 relaxers ago.

Ojon dry recovery hydration shampoo and conditionner

Hey there!
I've been testing the Ojon products these past weeks, essentially the dry recovery shampoo and conditionner. I'll come back later on the repair line.

Shampoo:

I found this shampoo moisturizing and very gentle to the hair. It's a good shampoo that I would recommend to anyone looking for a good moisturizing shampoo. However, you can find shampoos as good as this one for a cheaper price.

Conditionner
Ingredients:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Cetearyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Behentrimonium Chloride, Lamnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil, Elaeis Oleifera (Palm) Kernel Oil, Citrus Aurantiumbergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Oil, Citrus Reticulata Leaf Oil, Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Viola Odorata (Sweet Violet) Extract, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Extract, Agave Tequilana (Blue Agave) Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Behenamidopropyl Dimonium Chloride, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Salicylic Acid, Hexylene Glycol, Polyquaternium-7, Potassium Stearate, Potassium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Linalool, Limonene, Caramel (iln36905)

How great this ingredient list sound! Well this is where Ojon and I broke up!
This conditionner does what you can expect from any rinse off conditionner, but do not ask more!
Yes it detangles, yes the hair is very soft but all of this happens when the product is STILL in your hair. I left the product for 20 minutes under a heating cap. As soon as I rinse it out, my hair started to act up, specially my 12 weeks new growth! Even though I detangled with the conditionner in my hair, after rinsing, my hair was a tangled mess. What about the softness? Well after rinsing, it disappeared also!
Will I purchase it again? Absolutely not! I get better results with cheaper products.
